Lot size (volume): minimums, steps and tier limits
Volume is measured in lots and is set in the Amount field of the Order Ticket (type a number or use the +/− steppers). The minimum lot and step depend on the asset class: 0.01 for forex, crypto and commodities, 0.1 for indices, and 1 for stocks and ETFs (a few instruments have their own overrides). The absolute platform ceiling is 10,000 lots, but your membership tier sets a lower per-order cap: Minimum = 1, Standard = 5, Trader = 20, Professional = 50, Gold = 100, Platinum = 500, and Diamond / Sheik = uncapped (up to the 10,000 ceiling). If you enter more than your tier allows, the order is rejected with a "volume exceeds account limit" message, so raise your tier to trade larger sizes.
- 1Type your desired lots in the Amount field, or tap + / − to step by the symbol's increment.
- 2Keep at or above the symbol's minimum (0.01 forex/crypto/commodity, 0.1 index, 1 stock/ETF).
- 3Stay within your tier's per-order lot cap (Minimum 1 → Diamond uncapped).
- 4Submit — an over-limit size is refused, not silently trimmed.
