My trade was rejected — the full list of reasons

A trade can be rejected for several distinct reasons: the market for that symbol is closed (weekend/after-hours); you don't have enough free margin to cover the new position; your account is in a margin-call state and can't add risk; the volume is below the symbol's minimum or above your account's lot limit; the leverage or volume value is invalid; the requested Stop Loss or Take Profit is on the wrong side of the current price; there's no live price for that symbol at that moment (feed briefly unavailable); or your account is blocked. Read the exact error message the terminal shows — it tells you which of these applies. Common fixes: wait for the market to open, reduce your volume or leverage, close other positions to free up margin, or fix your SL/TP levels.

  1. 1Read the specific rejection message the terminal shows.
  2. 2If 'market closed', wait for the session to reopen or use a pending order.
  3. 3If it's a margin issue, reduce volume/leverage or close other positions to free margin.
  4. 4If it's volume or SL/TP, adjust to within the symbol's minimum/your lot limit and put SL/TP on the correct side.
